Social Programs For Accompanying Persons

We are planning two programs for accompanying persons.

1. Kimono-wearing (Tuesday afternoon, June 15):

Touch and feel our traditional culture in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Our friendly and hospitable volunteers, kimono masters, welcome you at the venue (apprx. 2hrs).

2. Sapporo City Walk (Thursday afternoon, June 17):

This tour will take you to the Brewery of "Chitosetsuru," Hokkaido's most famous sake, which was established in 1872. "Chitosetsuru" is the one and only sake brewery in Sapporo and the museum at the brewery shows the history of brewery sake in Hokkaido (apprx. 3.5hrs).

We will take no program fees (except for the travel cost for the City Walk Program). Feel free to join these programs. If any of your accompanying persons are interested in attending, please contact Dr Hiroyuki Takakura (email:takakura@eng.hokudai.ac.jp) as soon as possible as program size is limited.
Those who wish to attend are asked to register before the 24th of April.
